Tay Ninh Accelerates Development of Technology-Integrated Logistics Centers: A New Driver for Regional Supply Chains

Tay Ninh is implementing a long-term logistics development strategy with a vision to 2035 and orientation toward 2050, aiming to leverage its strategic location as a gateway to the Southeast region of Vietnam. According to a newly issued plan by the provincial People’s Committee, the province will invest in developing a modern logistics center system closely integrated with transportation infrastructure, commercial networks, and information technology to enhance supply chain operations.

This strategy is considered an important step in upgrading the logistics ecosystem of the region, while also creating favorable conditions for manufacturing and import–export businesses operating in industrial parks and border economic zones.

Planning 15 logistics centers at strategic locations

Under the new development orientation, Tay Ninh plans to establish 15 logistics centers distributed across areas with advantages in transportation infrastructure, international border gates, and concentrated production zones.

These centers are designed to support multiple supply chain functions, including cargo storage, distribution, transshipment, and multimodal transportation services. Locating logistics centers near border gates and key transportation corridors will help shorten transit times while optimizing logistics costs for businesses.

At the same time, the province aims to develop international-scale logistics centers, serving as trade connectivity hubs between Vietnam and neighboring countries, particularly through cross-border trade routes with Cambodia.
