SALE EXECUTIVE for FREIGHT & LOGISTICS

Responsible for securing new customers, and maintaining and developing existing accounts.

  • Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department.
  • Conduct and report minimum number of sales leads set by the management and transform a minimum of those into revenue generating business.
  •  Maintain records of customer details / sales visits .
  •  Identify potential customers and register opportunities; relentlessly pursue realization of such opportunities leading to revenue for the company.
  • Regularly visit existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams.
  •  Negotiate with the accounts as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profits.
  • Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
  •  Support Customer Service and work closely with Operations and Documentation on the execution of customer service contracts.
  •  Promote the services and products of all entities, and coordinate sales efforts with other department sales.
  • Assimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly / monthly sales meetings.
  •  Follow up with clients for out standing supported by the Finance Controller.

 CUSTOMS CLEARANCE DOCUMENT EXECUTIVE

 

  • Preparing documents of customs clearance for clients’ shipments (both sea & air, inbound & outbound).
  • Doing customs clearance on ECUS / VNACCS for E-customs
  • Regularly updating customs clearance status to customers.
  • Updating the shipment information in the system and master list.
  •  Following up monthly, weekly master list.
  • Liaising with the trucking teams to arrange to pick up cargoes from customers’ site (export shipments), or deliver the cargoes to consignees’ address (import shipments)
  • Solving the issues during the customs clearance process.
  • Advising customers on the matters related to customs formalities.
  • Coordinating with the customer and Customs & Transportation dept. to ensure that the shipments are cleared smoothly & timely.
  • Contact to the customers for required documents if missing regarding to incoming shipments.
  •  Preparing required reports (internal & external).

SHIPPING EXECUTIVE/ CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Contact and work with customers, Co-loader, shipping lines, foreign agents
  • Issue Bill of Lading and other shipping documents
  • Handling export – import shipments
  • Checking all documents carefully
  • Tracing shipment until final destination
  • Updating shipments status
  • Other jobs as requirement.
  • Support customers and sales departments
  • Solve any arising problems related to the shipping documents, Bill of Lading, cargo release…for customers / agents
  • Arrange details of shipments with warehouse/ forwarders/carriers/transporter as necessary for imports/exports.
  • Knowledge of International trade terms & business.
  • Knowledge of excise rules & documentation
  • Be responsible for implementing processes involved in one of the fields: Sea Import /or Export or Air-import /or export
  • Issue HBL/HAWB or Forwarder’s Cargo Receipts to vendors.
  • Coordinate with oversea agents for booking approval, reserve booking with carrier/co-loader and send booking confirmation to shipper.
  • Work with trucking vendor and Customs department for handling door to door shipment.
  • Bill of Lading cross-check, filling FMC, AMS, ISF, Manifest.
  • Debit statement from service provider, prepare payment request to Accounting and follow up payment to be made timely, create statement and debit note to send to related oversea offices/customer.
  • Send out pre-alert of the exporting shipment to over-sea agent.
  • Track & trace the shipment until discharged/delivered at destination.
  • Obtain schedules / destination freight charges when needed.

  LOGISTICS ACCOUNTANT

The logistics accountant job profile presents a picture of duties that are required to be fulfilled as part of a logistics account management system or group. The logistics accounting department may be part of a larger organization or company, and hence the range of jobs to be handled by the accountant would also vary accordingly. On a general note, a logistics accountant requires to properly examine the freight charges applicable and prepare account statements accordingly.

It is the job of the logistics accountant to establish healthy financial relationships between the company he is employed at and its clients or shareholders, partners, and creditors. He must carefully manage the accounts of all parties that have been forwarded freights and report their financial status as well as the corresponding condition of the company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare daily Accounting records and Journal entries.
  • Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Review and processing expense invoices.
  • Review and validate revenue invoices.
  • Collection follow up of account receivables.
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
  • Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.

OPERATION EXECUTIVE AT PORT/ INDUSTRIAL PARK

  • Executing delivery and received cargo at seaport/ airport/ terminal or industrial parks. 
  • Doing liquidation of export declaration, supervision of receiving import cargo at CFS or TCS/ SCSC.
  • Working with customs officer at industrial park to clear customs declaration.
  • Delivery and receipt document between customer, shipping line, co -loader and vendor with company.
  • Submitting and get C/O at Ministry of Industry and Trade.
